The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

17:36

I've never used an oil cleanser before, I'm all about cream cleansers as they work best with my skin. However, I've seen a lot of people raving about this and promising that it didn't break them out or react badly with their skin (which was my worst fear with oil cleansers), so I decided I would be brave and give it a go.
First of all, it comes in a handy pump bottle, so it reduces the mess of having to pour the oil into your hands and reduces waste as one pump gives you the right amount of product.
I always use this on days when I'm wearing make-up and it's the first step in my night-time skincare routine as my make-up remover, then I usually follow it up with a cream cleanser as I'm enjoying double cleansing right now!
I use this simply by using one pump and rubbing it over dry skin in circular motions until I can just feel my make-up becoming loose and dissolving away. Then, I just use a normal face cloth and warm water to swipe it all away. I use this in the same way for my eye make-up and it has never caused my eyes to blur or be irritated. It even removes the thickest coat of mascara and eyeliner!
I've been using this for a while now as I've wanted to give it a proper trial and every time it has never left a greasy residue of film over my face, it hasn't broke me out or caused my sensitive skin and eyes to become irritated in any way. This is most likely down to the fact that it contains camomile, one of nature's natural ingredients that is proven to care for skin, and that's exactly how my skin feels after using this, cared for.
I really do love this cleansing oil and it's definitely changed my opinions about them, but I don't think I'll be straying away from this one anytime soon as it just simply works at removing all my make-up and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. Also, at only £10 for 200ml of product, I would consider it to be a great bargain buy.
